RJA #15

I learned a great amount of information just from doing research such as more ways to find resources. For other papers I've used the same ones and in this research paper allowed me to use other search engines and get to know the library web page. I will continue to use the ones I thought were useful.
I learned a lot about my topic than i knew before since i needed a lot of information to fulfill how long the paper needed to be. I will continue to use OWL purdue because it helped with formatting my paper since I have never written a paper in MLA before and the delicious account came to be very useful when having to deal with multiple links for this paper.

RJA #14 Progress

For my application project my plan is to write various journal entries from day to day from a parent's point of view worried about her teen's drug habits. It will start off with the first signs and symptoms and progress with the teen doing worse. It will go in detail about the parent's feelings and emotions and some things she's going to try to do to help. The journal will end with the mom getting her teen help and resolving the problem.

So far I have an outline made for how I will be writing my paper. I have a half way done rough draft of my paper. My rough draft has the main topics of what i will be discussing in each journal but still needs details. I also have the references that I will be using for my paper in APA format.

I still need to add more to my rough draft in the missing areas. I need to start my second essay showing how i used my references. I also need to type it in APA format on the template which should be all be done by thursday for peer-reviews. After peer reviews I will over look my paper and make any corrections and it should be ready to be turned in by the last day of school.
